Wipro Recruitment Process

The Wipro selection process has recently changed and we have provided the same for all aspirants. The Wipro hiring process is divided into four processes:

  • Pre-presentation talk
  • Online test
  • Group discussion
  • Technical round
  • HR interview

1. Pre-presentation talk

There will be a pre-presentation talk where the HRs of Wipro will talk to you about the company. They will largely cover subjects like work culture, profiles, growth opportunities, remunerations, etc. At the end of the talk, there will be a Q & A session where you can clarify all your doubts. This helps you to prepare for the exam.

2. Online Test

The online test for Wipro comprises 48 questions that need to be completed in 140 minutes. These questions will be asked about quantitative ability, reasoning, verbal ability, basic programming, and computer fundamentals. There will also be essay writing which will have topics like current affairs, politics, and abstracts. The details of each section and syllabus for the same have been provided below.

Essay Writing Syllabus

There is no syllabus for essay writing. You can go through some common essay-writing questions and understand the structure that you need to follow

  • Good vocabulary
  • Sentence variety
  • Length

3. Group Discussion

Wipro conducts a GD round. This is generally conducted after the online test. In certain cases, this can be conducted even before the online test. In this round, the panelists divide the applicants into small groups and give them a topic to discuss. This topic can be anything from current affairs, and politics, to abstract. Candidates have to make sure they give their input in this round. Make sure to let the others complete what they are saying before you start talking, do not interrupt anyone. You may have differences of opinion but stick to that. Do not contradict yourself.

4. Technical Round

Candidates who clear the online test will be shortlisted to attend the technical round. This round tests your concepts and technical knowledge. Questions will be asked from different subjects for the profile applied. Candidates must be prepared to answer questions from their branch. Case studies may be involved in this round. Tricky questions or twisted questions are asked in this round. Candidates must make sure their base is strong enough to answer such questions.

1. Academic Qualification

To be eligible for the posts, the candidate must

  • Have secured more than 60% marks in 10th, 12th (or diploma), Graduation, and Post Graduation (if applicable)
  • BE/ BTech in any discipline (CSE/ ECE/ IT/ Civil/ ME/ EEE/ Automobile/ Aeronautical, etc) – [Must be full-time courses, part-time or correspondence will not be considered]
  • Not have any pending backlogs at the time for attending the selection process
  • Have a full-time graduate degree recognized by the Central or State government of India
  • Have completed all exit formalities in the previous organization before joining Wipro (if applicable)

2. Documents Required

While attending the selection process for Wipro, candidates must have the following documents with them

  • Original marks sheets of 10th, 12th, graduation, and post-graduation (Carry at least one set of copies at all times)
  • Updated resume
  • Passport size photographs
  • Identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voters ID, Passport, etc.)

3. Mandatory and Optional sections for Wipro Recruitment

The mandatory sections that Wipro will consider the scores are:

  • Quantitative Aptitude (Score Considered by Wipro)
  • Verbal English (Score Considered by Wipro)

  • Personality Test (Score Not Considered by Wipro)

Wipro does not consider the scores of these optional papers but other companies may. You can choose any two of these

  • Civil Engineering – Civil Engineering and Computer Programming
