How to Ride Two Wheeler Safely: Bike Driving Guidelines for Women

While Driving the bike we should be more conscious and careful on the roads and the other bikes and vehicles. Women who drive a two-wheeler should always be aware of a few things, such as Checking the brake, gasoline, clutch, and tire before starting the travel.

Men Riding vs. Women Riding

Both can ride bikes and do races also, but what we discuss here is, only the difference between both. While men ride bikes, they used to be very fast and more calculating, and mostly they don’t have shyness or fear of riding the bikes. But women used to get shy while driving and until the end ride, they will be in fear only of opposite bikes and co-riders.

Always wear helmets that cover completely (Full Size). Some of the girls for beauty, the purpose they wore a half-size helmet or only the cloth they used to cover it. That is strictly not allowed. more than beauty your life is very important so give importance to that don’t listen to others in this case.

Try to keep always on the cart or purse with you, within that keep the following documents,

Closely Observe traffic rules regularly and properly put the indicators on the curve. This is very helpful for your co-bike or opposite-track bike/motorcycles.  If the Opposite direction vehicle headlights are too bright then blink your headlight, Based on this sign they understand that their headlights are too high you can’t ride it.

If your two-wheeler is a self-start model, you need to know how to kick-start as well. That is when Self-Start does not work, you can kick-start it and ride over it. Putting a center stand is a difficult task. so practice in your free time and be aware of it. and get some strengths too. 😉

Never drive the motorcycle while holding the brakes. The brake shoe will soon be ripped off. During the rainy morning, the bike will not start and it will take time to get the engine warm. So at those moments, only the kick-starts can help you and are advisable too.

Be sure to air-check from time to time to avoid tire damage. It is important to change tires at regular intervals without having to wait until the tires are damaged more. If not properly maintained, then it often leads to a skid when the brakes hit.

Be sure to change the engine oil and do the general service as specified in your respective company service center. If we take care of the engine, then we will save the biggest amount.

Always try to fill the fuel as often as required. There is no need to wait until the red mark comes. because sometimes in the middle of the road or forest, we may be stuck with fuel, and at the time we can’t do anything. So generally try to keep at least more than 1 Liter is advisable, my dear ladies.

  4. Start Slow:
    • If you’re new to biking, start with short, flat routes to build confidence and fitness gradually.
  5. Proper Riding Technique:
    • Practice good posture: Keep your back straight, shoulders relaxed, and elbows slightly bent.
    • Maintain a relaxed grip on the handlebars to improve control and reduce fatigue.
    • Shift gears smoothly to maintain a comfortable pedaling cadence.
  6. Stay Aware of Traffic:
    • Always obey traffic laws and signals.
    • Use hand signals to indicate turns and stops.
    • Be cautious at intersections and watch out for cars, pedestrians, and other cyclists.
  7. Ride with Confidence:
    • Believe in your abilities and ride confidently. Confidence can help deter potential harassers or unsafe drivers.
  8. Plan Your Routes:
    • Plan your routes, considering safety, traffic, and road conditions.
    • Use bike lanes and dedicated bike paths when available.
  9. Carry Essentials:
    • Bring a basic repair kit, including a spare tube, tire levers, and a mini pump.
    • Carry identification, a mobile phone, and some cash or a credit card for emergencies.
  10. Self-Defense Awareness:
    • While cycling is generally safe, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings and carry personal safety items if needed.
  11. Practice Balance:
    • If you’re concerned about balance, practice in a safe, open area like an empty parking lot until you’re comfortable.
